This hospital isn't much different than any other one I've been to in Virginia. This is however the first hospital I have come to where the doctor in the E.R. rushed through "bullets of questions" (as the doctor put it) and didn't wait for me or my daughter to finish answering. Overall, its decent.
All staffs are great! Empathy, kindness and pleasure. Thank you to all again. Specially physical therapy Team and 🤗 Karen and Evelyn🤗
Haven’t had a bad experience. The E.R really helped me with resources and other information. The doctors and staff are attentive, helpful.
Emergency room is very efficient. Appendectomy was so quick and easy. I didn't even have to spend one night. All other services have been quick and easy too. They have valet parking!
We are from out of town and I had to take my husband to the ER for severe ear pain. He ended up with a double ear infection. We were in and out of the ER in no time! Such a relief! I was impressed with the staff. The PA who treated him was excellent. It was a good experience.
One of my best friends had her first seizure and was taken to this hospital on emergency. Everything and everyone was great. Tests were all done quickly and efficiently and everyone, especially nurse Ashley, had a great bed side manner and did everything they could to move towards a diagnosis (they didn’t have a neurologist on staff at that time.) I was really impressed.
My husband was admitted last Tuesday for a serious heart problem and the care he received at every point during his 4 day stay at the Prince William Medical Center hospital was excellent! To a person, the doctors and nurses were knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. The Cardiac Catheterization team, led by Dr. Jafir, was especially outstanding. We are grateful for their assistance!
2 years ago I was on my death bed, literally. I had multi-organ failure, blood sugar of 1358, I was in Diabetic ketoacidosis, septic, pancreatitis, in a coma for 7 days, a fever of 106, on dialysis, on life support and this hospital saved my life. My husband said I had a nurse in my room 24 hrs a day. The doctors were excellent. The nurses were kind and attentive both when I was in my coma and when I woke up. I honestly can't say anything bad about this hospital, except thank you for saving my life. Oh wait, my bill was $80,000 so if I had to say something bad it would be about my bill. My insurance only paid $60k. I'm responsible for the $20k.
Had my son here. Best labor and delivery experience of my life. This hospital's nurses and ob/gyns are the best!
My parents were in Virginia for New Years all the way from Florida. My stepdad had a heart attack, flatlined 4 times and the doctors and emergency rescues from this hospital/area saved his life. Had this happened in Miami, he probably wouldn’t have been with us today. Not sure why this hospital has 2.5 stars. For the amazing service and comfort my mom and stepdad received throughout all of this, this hospital deserves all the stars in the world. Thank you so much.
I had THE BEST experience here at Novant Prince William Emergency Room Dept. All the staff that took care of me gave me 5+ star service. All the staff I had dealt with had the BEST bedside manners! Thank you PWED!!!!!! Merry Christmas!!!
Needed ER service after a fall. Professional, seen in a timely manner, and all of my medical needs were met. Friendly. Knowledgeable.
Mixed review... ER services were above average. One particular nurse named Isaiah was AWESOME! Front desk check-in staff called security on me because I demanded that I go in the back as they were processing my 79 year old Mom. I was aggressive, I never got out of my seat but I was clear that I was my Mom's health advocate and they better not be in the back poking on prodding without me being there... so then she comes back with an ER nurse and a security guard. I was like... REALLY... a security guard. I wasn't moved... again, I was articulately clear and they escorted me back to my mother's bed side.
I got reasonable advice to help with sleep issues.
